We  are  heavily  inspired  by cinema, art and all things vintage. Our approach to our work is a blend of documentary and direction—capturing the real,in-between moments while gently guiding when needed to create timeless, cinematic imagery. We’re drawn to nostalgic tones, honest emotion, and storytelling that feels both personal and artful. Through our lens, we aim to preserve the feeling of your day in a way that’s as beautiful as it is true.

Fast forward to 2025, we are committed to making our dream  happen. As Cellar Door Studios continues to evolve, the name itself—derived from the film Donnie Darko—serves as a constant reminder of poetic beauty present in every story we are honoured to tell.
